In 2005 members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints celebrated the 200th anniversary of the birth of Joseph Smith, the Prophet. The Nauvoo Mint has a few 1 ounce .999 fine silver commemorative medallions celebrating this great event. Each medallion may be ordered in a sealed, clear plastic case.
This rare medallion will make the perfect gift for members who want to commemorate the 200th anniversary of the birth of the Prophet of the Restoration. The obverse has a profile of Joseph Smith and the reverse has the rebuilt Nauvoo Temple.
